Profile

Andrew Papas is a Physiotherapist with advanced postgraduate training in both Musculoskeletal/Manipulative Physiotherapy and Sports Physiotherapy. Andrew has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis and management of sports injuries, spinal (neck and low back pain), headache, orthopaedic rehabilitation including cast application/removal and work injury.

Andrew has also been an invited speaker at Sports Conferences convened by the St. George Orthopaedic Research Institute, presenting on rehabilitation of shoulder injuries.

Andrew is also Principal Physiotherapist of Spinal, Orthopaedic and Sports (SOS) Physiotherapy which has clinics uniquely located in Fitness First - Rockdale and Sylvania.

Andrew Papas completed a three year Medical Science degree at the University of NSW before undertaking undergraduate studies in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Following three years in clinical practice, Andrew enrolled in advanced postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney, completing a Master of Health Science in Manipulative Physiotherapy as well as a Master of Health Science in Sports Physiotherapy. Andrew holds professional membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Association (MPA) and Sports Physiotherapy Association (SPA).

During his experience as Sports Physiotherapist, Andrew has been affiliated with many professional and elite sporting teams including the NSW Country Origin Rugby League Team and Western Suburbs and West Tigers NRL Teams.

With clinics also uniquely located in Fitness First - Rockdale and Fitness First - Sylvania, Andrew works with a team of experienced Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologist and Massage Therapists.
