Dr Justin Paoloni is a Sports Physician with specific interest in the non-surgical treatment of tendon injury, children and adolescent injury, football injury, and injuries to the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle.

He also is a workcover accredited Injury Management Consultant, Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of NSW, and has a long history of managing injuries in elite sporting teams.

Dr Justin Paoloni completed four years of Sports Physician specialist training in musculoskeletal medicine, sports injury management, and medical aspects of sport and exercise and was awarded a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Sports Physicians

He graduated from University of NSW in 1996, completed his internship and residency at St George Hospital, and also completed a Masters of Sports Medicine

During 2000 - 2004 Dr Justin Paoloni was a Sports Medicine Research Fellow at the Orthopaedic Research Institute and obtained a PhD in the management of tendon injuries (specifically shoulder, elbow, and Achilles) using topical glyceryl trinitrate treatment. This research has won many prestigious awards including:

2003 St George Hospital Young Clinical Investigator of the year
2004 Herodicus Society Fellowship, American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine
2004 Gold Medal, NSW Sporting Injuries for Outstanding Research in Science and Medicine in Sport
2006 Excellence in Research Award, American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine
He continues to be actively involved in clinical research.

Dr Justin Paoloni has extensive experience in sport injury in a variety of medical doctor and director roles for the NRL clubs Wests- Tigers, Canberra Raiders, and Brisbane Broncos, Parramatta Rugby Union, and the 2000 Olympics and Paralympics.
